About SACDLA

The San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association is organized to promote, assist and educate its membership in the protection of individual rights guaranteed by the Texas and Federal Constitutions, the preservation of the citizenry’s and court system’s commitment to those rights, and the promotion of competent and ethical representation of persons accused of a crime. We offer expertise in all criminal matters to member attorneys, including:

Motions / brief bank
Subscription to the “Defender” magazine
Selected transcripts of local expert testimony
Expert witness referrals
Monthly CLE events and specialized training programs
Member listserv

Listserv Guidelines

The SACDLA Listserv is intended to be a means of facilitating professional communications among members of SACDLA. It is not intended to be a substitute for valid legal research, and answers to questions posed should not be taken as such. Please do not use the listserv to engage in personal conversations, profanity, advertisements, or personal attacks. Also remember that SACDLA is a non-profit organization charted by the State of Texas, and as such we are prohibited from “participat[ing] in, or interven[ing] in (to include the publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for political office.” Violation of these guidelines may be cause for removal from access to the listserv. In addition, the Listserv shall not be used for advertising for non-SACLDLA events.If you have trouble accessing the listserv, please contact Zoe Russell at zoe@lawzoerussell.com.
